We are looking for people aged 20-70 to take part in a group discussion in London for 90 minutes about understanding how people organise Power of Attorney, Court of Protection or 3rd Party Mandates with a financial provider.
Power of attorney – Allows a 3rd party to make financial decisions, etc, on their behalf.
3rd Party Mandate – A formal instruction to the bank by another owner to provide access to their account by another person.
Court of Protection – Specialist court for all issues relating to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions about finances and property, etc…The court appoints deputies to make decisions in the best interests of the individual.
